Challenge #29 and our new Designers

Before we get to this week's challenge, I am trilled to introduce to to our 6 new designers who will be gracing us with their Christmas cards starting next week.  They will be working along side our current designers -- AlannaJennifer, Jovita Margo and Sparkle, who is the owner of this challenge site.

Let's get to know a bit about our new designers.  Enter this week's challenge below.

I have been crafting since Mum taught me to knit clothes for my dolls many moons ago!  I started making cards in 2001 and blogging in 2007.  Blogging was a revelation as I've made so many new friends and learned so much from the inspiration of my fellow bloggers.  I would say that my crafting style leans more towards the clean and simple than the fussy and fancy but I'm not adverse to having a go at most things!

I am honoured to be asked to work with the CCC Design Team and share my creations with you.  See you next week with my first design.

Hi, my name is Anne Jang and I have lived in Maryland just about my whole life.  I have a beautiful daughter Sarah who is 12, and a loving husband Jay of 16 years.  I have been scrapbooking and card making for over 15 years and adore it.  Most recently, in the past few years  I've discovered the joy of scrapbooking online via challenge blogs and it has opened up a whole new world for me! I hope you enjoy my little corner of this paper crafting world and hope I've inspired just one person!

My husband and I did the Art/Craft Show circuit for over 10 years in addition to my full-time job (Public Relations and Computers).  I quit when he retired in 2000 and became more involved in paper crafting. We moved to FL and I’m currently the president of our local Craft Club.  I teach various craft classes throughout the year including card making to 20-30 ladies. While I still do other crafts, card making has become my love.

I'm a second-time-around-happily married mother of four wonderful sons.  Three are 18, and one is 20.  (Two are my husbands; two are mine.)  Being around so many men means that I must have my crafty time!  I've been paper crafting for around 20 years.  It mostly started with scrapbooks when my kids were babies.  Those scrapbooks were filled with paper shapes and stickers, and I love them so much....but they were a little simple.  In 2005, I went to a card class taught by a dear friend, Sharon.  I was hooked!  Over the years, I've learned so much from Sharon.

My scrapbook pages are much more detailed now, and I love card-making.  Late last year, I joined my first design team at Crop Chocolate.  The leader there, Amber, and all of the DT were so supportive and encouraging that I ventured into home decor, mini-albums, and upcycled projects.  I love paper!  I love ribbon!  I love bling! And I love Christmas paper, ribbon and bling!  I'm super excited to be a design team member at Christmas Card Challenges!

Hello! I’m Monica from Italy !  After having worked full-time in an International Company for some years, I decided to become a SAHM when my maternity leave was over.  I’ve always loved painting. I think I love the color side of crafting! I painted on wood for several years doing craft shows and I turned to paper crafting back in 2008, discovering rubber and digi stamps which I colored with watercolors. Last year, Copic markers started to be available in my town and now I have a great fun in coloring images without the mess of paint and water!  I love to make Christmas cards all year long so I’m really happy to be part of this Design Team!

I'm so excited to have been chosen me to be a part of the weekly Christmas Card Challenge! Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year and working on Christmas cards all year round is like extending the holiday so much longer.

I'm a mother of five wonderful children and grandmother to seven very fast growing grandchildren. My eldest daughter introduced me to the new world of scrapbooking mid 2009, and I've been hooked ever since. All those lovely papers! And all the wonderful things that can be done with them! I've been teaching paper crafting, from cards, to layouts, to mini-albums, and projects, for the past 2 1/2 years, and I love it!

I look forward to working with the DT here at CCC and seeing all the wonderful Christmas cards submitted each week. I can't wait to see what the next challenge will be each and every week! Happy card making everyone!

Now for this week's challenge where we have a great sketch for you.  Remember, though, that the only real rule to play along with us is to make a Christmas or holiday card.

What a fun blog idea, only Christmas/holiday cards! I just stumbled across this blog when I was looking at the design team from A.R.T. Card Challenges. May I ask, how does one become a member of a design team? I am very interested in "applying," or whatever one does. :)
