2012 Christmas Card Challenge Week #4

Merry Christmas everyone!!

We at the CCC want to wish all of you a safe and happy holiday!  We've been super fortunate to have your continued support, and we hope we're able to continue to inspire, and have you join us each week.  Thanks so much to all who were able to participate last week.  What fabulous cards you created!

Our challenge this week is a Sketch, created by our lovely Peggy Toole.  Please keep in mind that all challenges are optional.  Any Christmas/Winter/Holiday card will do.  The idea is to help keep your Christmas card stash growing so you won't be scrambling at the last minute when it comes time to mail them.  Also, it's not necessary to use a SCRS stamp, but we sure love it when you do!

Here is a bigger view of the sketch.

Great sketch!  It's simple, and leaves tons of room for interpretation.  Our design team, and guest designer have come up with some fabulous cards.  For more details, click on their names, and you'll be taken to their blogs.

Please remember to link directly to the blog post or gallery page where we can view/comment on your creation, and not just the generic link to your blog. Generic blog links will be disabled or deleted. You must create a new project. No backlinking please.

Happy Holidays!

2012 Christmas Card Challenge Week #1

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the very first challenge of 2012 here at the Christmas Card Challenge blog!  We hope that we can provide you with more Christmas inspiration this year.  We have always had such wonderful participation, and hope to be blessed with that again this year.  We've got some great new challenges for you, and an awesome design team to help inspire you each week.  So, let's get to it!

Before I get to our first challenge, I'd like to announce the winner of the Christmas candy from our blog hop.  The winner is comment #6 on Candace's blog.

Congrats to marg0006!

Please email me (onecraftychica@gmail.com) with your info so that I can get your goodies out to you.

Our first challenge is to create a One Layered Christmas card.  This topic turned out to be a bit more challenging for a lot of us.  I guess you don't realize how much you put into something, until you're told you can't. lol  As always, the challenge is optional.  Any Christmas/Winter/Holiday card will do.  Also, it's not necessary to include a SCRS image on your card, but we sure love it when you do!

Since it's the first challenge of the month, we have a cute SCRS stamp up for grabs.  Hopefully, you'll get the chance to join us for a chance to win.

I'm so very excited to share our new DT and guest designer cards with you.  I think they did an amazing job with our first challenge.  Are you ready to see them?  If you'd like more details on their cards, click on each designers name to be taken to their blog.  Alright, here you go!
