2011 Christmas Card Challenge Week #17

Hi everyone! Thanks so much for those of you who played along with last week's challenge - we love seeing what you create!

This week our challenge for you is no stamping. *Gasp!* This is definitely harder than the no-coloring challenge we had awhile ago, hahaha. Please remember that our weekly challenges are optional and provided as inspiration - any Christmas or winter-themed card will do! :)

Here are some fabulous samples from the design team to get those juices flowing:

2011 Christmas Card Challenge Week #16

Good morning.  Alanna here bringing you this week's challenge.  Thanks to all who played last week with us.  We saw a lot of great Christmas cards.

Our challenge this week is a recipe challenge:  Use 1 designer paper, stars and rub-ons for your card.  Remember, however, that this challenge is optional.  The only real rule is that you get ahead of the game and make a Christmas or holiday card so you're not so stressed out come December.

Let me show you what the designers have for you this week.

2011 Christmas Card Challenge Week #15

Thanks to everyone who played along with last week's sketch, all of your cards were wonderful!  Before we get to this weeks challenge, we have a winner from last weeks entries.  Thanks to random.org, congrats to lucky #8 Jennifer!! Please email Steph (onecraftychica@gmail.com) with your address so we can get your stamp out to you.

This week's challenge is to use elves on your cards and projects.  Please remember that our challenges are optional, any winter or Christmas card is perfect, we just want to help you get a jump start on your holiday cards. Also, it is not required that you use a SCRS stamp to participate, but we sure love it when you do.

Here are the cards that our lovely design team, and guest designer have created for you this week.

2011 Christmas Card Challenge Week #14

Hi everyone! I apologize for the delay in this post.  It was scheduled to go live at the normal time, but for some reason didn't.  We loved seeing your wonderful use of punches last week! Thanks so much for playing along.

This week our challenge for you is a sketch. The sketch was created by our one and only, Peggy Toole.  Please remember that our weekly challenges are optional and provided as inspiration - any Christmas or winter-themed card will do.

Also, it's the first challenge of the month, so there is a beautiful Sparkle Creations rubber stamp up for grabs!

It's the beginning of a new month, and we have a new guest designer.  Before I introduce her, I'd like to say thank you again to Pat for being a wonderful guest in February.  Her cards were beautiful and we are blessed to have had her join us.  Thanks Pat!  And now, for our March guest designer.  Please help me welcome, the awesome Kim Burmeister.  Here is a bit about her, in her own words.

I am a SAHM with a wonderful husband and two boys. In addition to taking care of my family, I am a Stampin' Up Demonstrator. I love card making and scrapbooking and hope to inspire you with my projects. To top it off, I get to design for Paper Craft Planet.

And here is her card, based on the sketch.  Isn't it fabulous?!

And now, I give you the cards created by our lovely design team.
