2011 Christmas Card Challenge Week #49

Hello everyone!

Welcome to the next challenge here at Christmas Card Challenges!  Every week we are super excited about your participation, and love all of your creations.  Thanks so much to all who are able to join us!  After this week, there are only three challenges left for the 2011 term.  How are you coming along in creating your Christmas cards?  Hopefully, we have been able to help you along as the year goes by.  Keep in mind though, there are only 48 days until Christmas!

I now give you this weeks challenge, a sketch, created by the wonderful Peggy Toole.  Please keep in mind that all challenges are optional.  Any Christmas/Winter/Holiday card will do.  The idea is to help jump start your Christmas mojo so that you get started on your cards and aren't rushing at the end of the year.  Also, it's not necessary to use a SCRS stamp on your card, but we sure love it when you do.

Another thing, it's the first challenge of the month, so there is an adorable SCRS stamp up for grabs to one lucky, random participant.  Good luck!

Here is a larger version of the sketch, so you can see it better.  It's lovely, and leaves lots of room for interpretation.

Since it's the beginning of a new month, we also have a fabulous new Guest Designer.  Thanks so much to Deonna who did a wonderful job in October.  I'm sure you know who our next guest is.  Her creations are always beautfully put together.  Please help me welcome Ceal Pritchett!  Here is a bit about her, in her own words.

I am a G.R.I.T.S girl but currently live in Colorado with my husband and Shih Tuz Willis. We became empty nester's a couple years ago and this year we became grandparents to a beautiful little girl.
I have been crafting pretty much all my life have always loved to color and still do. I started with Scrapbooking but my love quickly became card making. I lead a card ministry with my church, and enjoy teaching ladies how to make cards.

Here are what the awesome design team, and guest designer have created for you today.  Aren't they lovely?

As always, we do hope you'll be able to join us. Please remember to link directly to the blog post or gallery page where we can view/comment on your creation and not just the generic link to your blog. Generic blog links will be disabled or deleted. To get the full URL, click the title of your blog post (which will load a page that has just that post on it), then copy and paste the URL. You must create a new project, no backlinking please.

Don't forget to post a comment so we know you added a card! If you are uploading to an online
gallery such as Splitcoast, please use the tag SCCC49, so that we can all enjoy your cards.

Stay crafty my friends!
