2010 Christmas Card Challenge Week #13

I'm sorry to say that I didn't get this week's Christmas cards done. I will leave the theme open and you can make any Christmas/Winter card you would like.

I do have more pictures of our trip up on my personal blog, so you can check them out if you would like.

Thanks and please still post a comment so I know you added a card!

I hope you all have a great weekend and I hope that the US wins the gold in hockey tonight!

2010 Christmas Card Challenge Week #12

This week's challenge: Use any winter sport related image. In honor of me going to the Olympics this week, I thought this would be a fun challenge.

I just love figure skating and I SO wish I was going to see that. Of course I don't have an arm and a leg to spare for a ticket, lol, so Brent and I compromised on hockey. I totally could of used my Hockeymomabella, but Glideabella was just calling out to me.

Paper: Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses
Stamps: Stamping Bella, sentiment is PTI
Snowflake Punch, PTI Button, Copics, Rhinestones, and Crystal Stickles

I'm finally actually almost out of my Eskimo Kisses paper. Last week while I was at Scrapbook Nook, I decided to get A Colorful Christmas. I really wanted the Jolly By Golly, but I can't do cream, lol. I'm sooooo a white girl. :) It's really because of my Copics and they color funny on cream paper.

Anyhoo- I hope you all have a great Sunday!

2010 Christmas Card Challenge Week #11

I used Random.org and #8 is my winner from last week's challenge. Tanya, I will send you a goodie in the mail! Thank you all for playing my challenges! I hope your stack of cards is growing nicely!

This week's challenge: Sketch Challenge! Use this sketch to create any holiday, Christmas, or winter card. The flourish represents an embellishment.

Snowbunny Bella was the first Bella I ever got and she will always hold a special place in my heart. But the more I play with my winter stamps, Daisyboardabella is actually my favorite winter one. Since I've been using these stamps the past couple of years...I've decided that after my 2010 cards go out, all of my old Bella stamps will be retired.

I will never sell them, lol...so please don't ask. But I'm sure my family is ready for new images on their cards. :) Sadly, I don't snowboard, but if I did, I would definitely have to have as cute of gear as Bella does.

Paper: Basic Grey Eskimo Kisses
Stamps: Stamping Bella, sentiment is Impress
Rhinestones, Nestabilities, Copics, Crystal Stickles, Snowflake Punch, and Twine

2010 Christmas Card Challenge Week #10

A little business first...some have asked for feedblitz for this blog as well. So I added it to my sidebar. :)

This week's challenge: Color Challenge! Use blue and red on your cards! You may also use neutral colors with the blue and red.

Since I'm using up scraps and didn't have enough paper to make 2 matching cards, I made 2 different ones. I just love these colors together! I've own this stamp for awhile now and I'm glad to have finally used her.

Paper: Cosmo Cricket
Stamps: Whiff of Joy, sentiments are Amuse
Snowflake Punch, PTI Buttons, CTMH Brads, Pearls, Nestabilities, and Crystal Stickles

Don't forget, I give out prizes for the first challenge of every month. Make sure you link your card by Saturday night at midnight for your chance to win a goodie from me.

Everyone have a fabulous Sunday!
